Found a nice place called Grotto Mulino Pregassona just a short walk away from the apartment, had lunch and dinner there. The host was great and helped us a lot...

reasonable prices were a pleasant surprise. it was good home base for traveling to lugano, i was glad to stay there. loved private bathroom. the free parking was available.
